Community recovery information is now just a click away. The Self Recovery App provides access to vital information about disasters and emergencies in Queensland.

The app features vital tips for preparing for disasters and cleaning up after them, including:

  • insurance information
  • personal and family support
  • business support
  • how to volunteer
  • how to donate goods and services
  • how to make a financial contribution.

Emergency+

The Emergency+ App uses the GPS functionality of smart phones to enable callers to provide emergency operators with their location information as determined by their smart phone. Latitude and longitude details can be relayed to an emergency operator as well as an address and suburb details.

The app includes the option of calling State Emergency Services (SES) 13 25 00 or Police Assistance Line (PAL) 13 14 44.

Triple Zero Kids’ Challenge

The Triple Zero Kids’ Challenge, lets kids learn about how to deal confidently with and get help in an emergency, by playing games and solving problems. They’ll learn about safety messages and hear what happens when you call Triple Zero (000).

Ready QLD

Volunteering Queensland has developed Ready QLD to inform Queenslanders about preparedness for natural disasters and provide updates on emergency volunteering news and current opportunities.

BOM Weather

BOM Weather is the Bureau of Meteorology’s weather app, giving you the most accurate weather information as you move around.

ABC Radio

The ABC Radio App gives you easy access to more than 20 radio stations.

SES Assistance QLD

The SES Assistance QLD App can assist when you or your property are in danger or potential danger associated with a flood or storm in Queensland. The State Emergency Service (SES) Queensland is a volunteer based organisation designed to empower people to help themselves and others in their community in times of emergency and disaster. The protection of life is the priority for the SES in these events.

RACQ Mobile Services

The RACQ Mobile Services App lets you request roadside assistance, check road condition reports, plan your trip (Android devices only) and find member savings.

First Aid

The Red Cross First Aid App is a free, comprehensive pocket guide to first aid and CPR, giving you access to the most up to date first aid information anytime, anywhere.
